No. Matter over Thread talks directly to Apple Home, Alexa and Google Home. You need one Thread border router — any recent HomePod, Apple TV 4K, Echo or Nest Hub already is one.
Pick the battery module at checkout (+$15). It runs about six months per charge and charges in place. The manual clutch still works when it is flat.
Yes — that is the point. Any grommet, pencil-pleat or pinch-pleat curtain under 8 kg per panel hooks straight onto the carriers. We sell track and motors, not fabric.
